- Group 10: Forms of Online Communication.
1. Find your topic by clicking by going to Edmodo and seeing which group you were added to. Use a search engine to find information about your TOPIC. Share what you have found by posting it on your edmodo group. (Min of 4 posts per person to receive credit.) Be sure you have addressed the questions posed in this Tech Handbook Review Sheet.
2. Also gather at least 4 web sites that provide additional information about the topic. Paste them into your edmodo group so that all group members can share. (Minimum of two links per group member.)
3. Tomorrow,you are going to create a poster with pictures, links, & text that further describes your topic using SmartArt in PowerPoint.

FRIDAY 1-10-14 Worldle Collage in PPT

- FILE MANAGEMENT: Learn how to create folders. Create a computer apps folder on your H drive. (New Folder button) Inside of that folder create a Word folder, PPT folder, & and Excel folder.
- WORD CLOUD POSTER
- Create your word cloud (Use Tagxedo) and save it to your H drive in your Computer Apps folder.
- Open PowerPoint & insert your Word Cloud. (Insert>picture)
- Crop your Wordle or Tagxedo. (Double click>choose crop (top right hand corner>drag edges in so they surround your wordle.)
- Add images to your word cloud. Paste images on slide, resize, and add effects. (double click to add effects)
- Format your background. (For more help view the video at the bottom.)
- Save the slide. (file > Save As)
- Print Finished product. Office button Print or ctrl+p (Print to the Lexmark so that you poster is in color)
- Be sure you write your full name on the wordle & turn in on the black filing cabinet in the back of the room.
